AJ, you must have the tastebuds of a friggin' belt sander. Go back to 151 rum and cola, please. That said, Kilo Kai is a spectacular spiced rum. The best spiced rum I've ever had and arguably one of the top-tier spiced rums on the market in my assuption. It does come across as a liquere when consumed "neat" (no ice), but don't let that stop you from mixing it if you prefer. It has enough substance to handle an equal proportion of your favoritve mixer (please don't tell me you drink rum and Yohoo!, though). Also, don't let the liquere angle sway you away from drinking this rum. In a word? Delicious! Slightly richer than most spiced rums, very silky on the palate, and exhibts subtle spiced notes of cinnamon, cardamom, and pink peppercorns. Its rich, vanilla backbone flovor is unctuous, yet not superfluous. If you have a modest bar at home and can find Kilo Kai in your area, buy a couple of bottles. Your friends will do the convincing without you having to do anything. This stuff is just good! Cheers!

First!

Bought a few bottles of rum for a tasting, etc. Kilo Kai was by far the most applauded. Saved it for last, must have super intuition, and it was the oohhs and awwss of the shin dig. Tastes great!
