It is my favorite whisky; they use new oak and quite a bit of Minnesota rye. Elmer T. Lee is the same mashbill but they select it out of "honey" barrels that are very smooth and sweet; also good, but the added zing and roughness of the Eagle Rare make it something I think you'd like.
