MxMo XLVI: Absinthe — The Atlantic

This month’s Mixology Monday is hosted by Sonja Kassebaum over at Thinking of Drinking. In addition to running a fine boutique distillery, North Shore, with her husband, Sonja is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.

This month she’s chosen the topic that’s near and dear to my heart:
The topic for February is Absinthe. That much maligned, misunderstood, mistreated spirit, suddenly plentiful … Continue Reading

Cocktail Fail Tale: the Broadway Smile

Broadway Smile Cocktail

So here’s my … Continue Reading

MxMo: Limit One — Mahjongg Cocktail

Mixology Monday: Limit One Upon reading the theme for this Mixology Monday, I drew a blank. The only recipe I know well that fit the bill was the Mai Tai, which I really love to make. But it seems like MxMo should be an encouragement to try something new, and I certainly didn’t want to fall into the newbie trap of sticking with the tried and true. Thinking this might be a good time to try a new tiki drink, I searched around a bit, … Continue Reading
